Have you ever walked into a climbing gym and wondered why there were so many young'uns? Join the Over The Mountain (OTM) Climbers, based in Pittsburgh, PA, and meet other people whose knees and eyesight may have passed their prime. All skill levels are welcome.
The goal of this group is to encourage gym meetups where aging climbers can socialize, exchange beta, find climbing partners, or share rock war stories.
OTM ASCEND: For the old and old at heart!
Come join us on the fourth Sunday at 9:30 am to meet, hangout, climb, and socialize. Look for the grumpy old curmudgeons in the social space near the kitchen.
A few reminders:
- If this is your first time visiting Ascend, remember to allow time to sign the waiver and get a tour. You can save some time at the front desk by signing the waiver online ahead of time. - If you are not an Ascend member, you can get a discounted day pass for $15 by mentioning that you are attending the OTM event at the front desk when you sign in. This includes all gear!
