"Not sure if u remember Apple or not. He is a great friend of mine who worked at TCW 20 years ago and was a good friend to many climbers in the community over the years. He lived at Seneca for awhile before moving out to Las Vegas where he continues to climb as much as anyone I know. He still has family in Pgh and many friends here. He is turning 40 next month and will be in town to reconnect w old friends. We are inviting folks to join us for a very informal celebration on Saturday, February 11 @ Ascend Point Breeze. Really, we’re all gonna just be climbing during the day like any other climbing session. We will probably have a cake there and then go out for drinks after. It’s probably going to end up being a reunion of sorts for old 412 climbers. So yeah, if you can ask folks to save the date and to stop by and say hi and maybe climb some, that would be great. This will all happen on Saturday, February 11th starting at 2:00. Also, anyone coming who is not a member of Ascend can mention at the front desk that they are there for Apple's birthday and get a day pass and rentals for $10. Thanks!!"
